BeetleBorgs: Blue Stinger

Based off a fanfiction concept I played around with that was based on the BeetleBorg comic book that existed within the show, not the show itself. You know how in the show, Beetleborgs is a comic and the kids want to be the real life versions of their favorite comic book. It's that book, but with my take on it. :

Logan is an amateur wrestler in the crime riddled Mission city. One day while going home from a workout session, Logan hears a voice calling out for help. The voice was coming from the swamplands, the swamplands were a the citys major tourists attraction as it was rumored to be haunted. 

Logan continues to follow the voice into the swamp until he finds an unconscious woman. The voice directs him again, as Logan picks up the woman and follows the voice to a hidden bunker within the trees. 

Within the hidden bunker the woman wakes, thanking Logan. He finds out that she is some kind of witch, whose mother was witch like her, but her father was genius robotics expert and tell him her name, Hannah. The voice Logan had been hearing belonged to a Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle named Hardshell.

Hannah tells Logan that she was attacked by a mad robot, a strange man shaped tank that was sent to find the bunker that they were in, and that the only way to leave the swamp safely was to destroy the robot. Asking how he was suppose to destroy an evil killer robot, of if the girl was even sane, Hannah used magic to combine Hardshell with one of her fathers incomplete robotic exo-suits transforming the beetle into a robot like version of itself. 

Hardshell combines with Logan forming an armored suit of him. Together Logan and Hardshell leave the bunker into the swamp to look for the robot that attacked Hannah. Soon they are ambushed by the G.C.M. The tank like robot was covered with weapons, weapons that it unleashed on Logan. With Hardshells help, Logan managed to destroy the walking tank. He returned to Hannah to give Hardshell back, but found out that he magic permanently bonded them together, giving them a psychic link.

So with the beetle in his pocket, Logan returned home. Watching news reminded him that his city, his home was sick with crime and he now had a means to do something about it. Taking advice from his favorite super hero, Spider-Man, and used his great power responsibly.

Logan stopped a mugger politely, where he told his story to the mugger while waiting for the police to arrive, leaving out details like his name and occupation. 

Soon he was found on the new where he was captured on camera by a new news reporter Tyleith Johnson who named him the BeetleBorg. Little that he realized, Logan would be seeing a lot more of the young reporter.
